Diana Pundole Takes on Yas Marina in Middle East Debut

Diana Pundole delivered an impressive performance at the iconic Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, competing in her first ever Passione Ferrari Club Challenge Middle East. Taking on one of the region’s most renowned Formula 1 venues, Diana showcased composure, speed and determination throughout the weekend, finishing 4th overall.

The event marked an important milestone in Diana’s racing journey as her debut appearance in the Middle East series. Reflecting on the experience, Diana described the weekend as a blend of excitement, learning and pure adrenaline. With each session, she continued to refine her pace and build confidence on the demanding Yas Marina layout, ultimately delivering a personal best lap of 1:57.424.

Stretching over 5.2 km, Yas Marina Circuit is known for its technical and varied layout, combining long high-speed straights with tight hairpins and heavy braking zones. The circuit demands precise braking, strong rhythm and confidence through its flowing sections, particularly after the long back straight and into the technical final sector.

“Every session was a mix of fun, learning, focus and pure adrenaline,” Diana shared after the race weekend. “Finishing fourth overall in my first outing at this level feels like a huge milestone and gives me even more motivation for what’s ahead.”

With a strong debut result and valuable track experience gained, Diana leaves Abu Dhabi with momentum and growing confidence as she continues her journey in the Passione Ferrari Club Challenge. As she put it herself, this is only the beginning.
