A story of discipline, precision - and breaking barriers in motorsport.
From the outside, motorsport is a world of speed.
For Diana Pundole, it has always been a world of structure, focus, and relentless improvement.
Her journey into racing didn’t begin with a childhood karting career or early sponsorships, but with a test of raw potential. Selected from nearly 200 hopefuls during the JK Tyre Talent Hunt, Diana entered the paddock as an outsider - a master’s graduate in English Literature with a sharp analytical mindset and an instinct for competition.
What followed was a steady, deliberate progression through India’s most competitive championships, grounded in discipline and a deep respect for the craft of racing. Two seasons in the JK Tyre National Racing Championship shaped her into a methodical, data-driven driver, while the Volkswagen Polo Cup sharpened her precision in close, wheel-to-wheel battles.
Diana is a winner.
In one of the only sports in the world where everyone competes at the same time on a truly level playing field, she has proven herself against the best - time and time again.
In 2024, everything aligned. Competing in the MRF Saloon Cars Championship, Diana delivered a composed and dominant season, converting pace into wins, pole positions, and fastest laps. She secured a historic title as India’s first female winner of a four-wheel National Racing Championship - a landmark moment for Indian motorsport.
That breakthrough opened the door to the global stage. Diana stepped into international competition in the Ferrari 296 Challenge, becoming the first Indian female National Racing Champion to compete in the series. Intensive winter testing across Europe and the Middle East, supported by her technical partners at Aligned Automation, strengthened her data-led approach. The results followed, including a podium finish in Jeddah and a growing presence in international GT racing.
Away from the stopwatch, Diana continues to invest in the future of the sport as a driver coach and racecraft mentor. Her journey is still unfolding - built not on overnight success, but on clarity, consistency and the belief that progress is earned, lap by lap.
